Air Force ROTC

Your gift to the Air Force ROTC Discretionary Fund is vital to purchase equipment, support base visits, and assist students in areas such as uniform assistance, cadet and military student activities, and supplemental scholarships.

Cadets are trained and evaluated based on their ability to embody the USAF Core Values of Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do

The result is a tried and tested junior officer capable of hitting the ground running managing multi-million-dollar projects and leading America's best and brightest.

“As I started my freshman year of college and first year in AFROTC, I encountered many changes. I was adapting to the military lifestyle, and classes began to ramp up in difficulty. I found myself facing many challenging requirements and time-staking assignments. I realized it was worth all the long hours and early mornings when I didn’t have to worry as much about my college expenses.” - Cadet Griffin Braun

Ohio University’s Air Force ROTC program, established in 1948, continues to gain national recognition for its success. AFROTC is a challenging program that unapologetically holds its participants to very high standards with experiences and opportunities that are second to none.
