On OHIO’s campuses, in its residence halls and academic buildings, in between classes and student organization meetings, a web of offices, programs and staff members exists as a support system for students. Whether it’s guidance for a first-generation student, a meal from the Cats’ Cupboard for a student experiencing food insecurity, or help finding a suit and tie for a first internship interview, these resources are an important part of how OHIO shows that Bobcats help Bobcats.
Ohio University’s commitment to sustainability and the environment is underscored by its Sustainability and Climate Action Plan – and that commitment comes to life through projects that create sustainable paint from acid mine drainage, facilitate green building practices through a LEED Lab, and the largest in-vessel composting system at any university in the nation.
