Suggested Criteria for Potential Board Candidates
- Actively supports Ohio University through volunteer leadership, philanthropy, and participation in university-affiliated programs and initiatives
- Willingness to give and raise funds for Ohio University
- Highly valued in their profession and community
Recommendation Process
To submit a suggested name, please complete the Foundation Board Recommendation Form. Please note that submitting a name does not guarantee its selection.
Review of Recommendations
Suggested names, along with the Foundation Board Recommendation Form, are reviewed by the Foundation Board’s Membership Committee. If the Committee recommends moving forward, the candidate’s interest in board service is discussed with them before a nomination is presented to the full Board of Trustees for a vote.
